Computer Netiquette

7.1

PRO- I love the way it explained the rules of netiquette. It explained the rules very clearly and thoroughly. The video made me aware that you shouldn't put everything in all CAPS because it means you are fussing and that you should always put something in the subject header.

CON- I had no dislikes.

PRO - It was very specific on the rules and very informative.

CON- Why should people not send emails late at night and I did not like how they had people animated with no legs or throat.

PRO- It was informative but I didn't know or understand the whole purpose of it.

CON- Confused on the message.

7.2

The videos were very informative. I learned so much from these videos. I did not know that you should always have a subject because when I send some emails I leave the subject area blank. I also wasn't familiarized with why people should put messages in all CAPS. I am always putting messages in all CAPS. It made me understand that you should think before you send a message because once it is sent it is gone.

7.3

The videos that I watched was informative but I knew some of the rules before watching the videos. I knew that words was not supposed to be in all CAPS but I was under the impression that you wanted the person to know you meant what you was saying but not that you was fussing at them. Most of the rules I already was aware of but it made me open my eyes to the other ones.

7.4
In the future I am going to take those rules of netiquette that I learned and the ones that I already knew to implement the information that I will be teaching my future students. I want them to understand the rules clearly and not just do anything. I also want my students to be very aware of what to do and what not to do. I hope that the information I learned will be resourceful to my students as well as other people that comes in my path.
